Speaking to journalists after touring the mandap, Indian High Commissioner Dinesh Trivedi said, "The joy of Puja belongs to everyone. There is a unique and harmonious atmosphere during this festival, and we wish for this spirit to prevail at all times."

He further added, "Humanity is the ultimate religion, and Kumudini Welfare Trust is a prime example of this. They have maintained such a massive hospital and continue to serve the people selflessly."

Earlier, around 5:45 PM, High Commissioner Trivedi arrived at the Kumudini Complex accompanied by his wife, Mrinal Trivedi, where they were welcomed by Mahabir Pati, Director of Kumudini Welfare Trust. The High Commissioner toured the Kumudini Library before crossing the Lohajang River by a traditional baddar boat from the north bank to the south bank, arriving at the courtyard of Ranadaprasad Saha's residence.

Upon arrival, he was greeted by Rajiv Prasad Saha, Managing Director of Kumudini Welfare Trust. Trivedi paid his respects to the idol of Goddess Durga and later enjoyed the traditional Aarati performance presented by the students of Bharatireshwari Homes.
