The deceased, identified as 39-year-old Shaker Hossain, served as the senior joint convenor of the municipal Juba Dal and worked as a counter master at a local transport terminal. According to local law enforcement authorities, Shaker was found unconscious at the Royal Paribahan counter in the central bus terminal area during the early morning hours.
