Mumbai Police have arrested three individuals in connection with the recent shooting targeting Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff's car. Meanwhile, the mother of one of the detained suspects has claimed that her son, Rehan, was deliberately framed and lured into the criminal act.
Speaking to journalists in Sonipat, Haryana, on Tuesday, Rehan's mother, Shamshida, asserted that her son had been misled and trapped into this heinous act. She stated that a few days prior to the incident, a group of people arrived at their home in a car and took Rehan away with them, after which she had no contact with her son for twenty consecutive days.
The incident took place last Sunday evening when Tiger Shroff was leaving a football ground in Mumbai's Juhu area. Three assailants on a motorcycle opened random fire at his vehicle. While the actor escaped unhurt, his driver and a bystander sustained gunshot wounds and were promptly rescued and admitted to a hospital.
Acting swiftly, police raided a train at the Kota railway station in Rajasthan on Monday, just a day after the incident, and arrested three suspected attackers. Among those detained are Rehan, a resident of Sonipat, Haryana, and Ritvik alias Roshan from Begusarai, Bihar.
Earlier, following the attack, an individual named Anil Pandit released a video message claiming responsibility on behalf of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. He claimed that Tiger was targeted for defying their orders and continuing to work with actor Salman Khan. However, Mumbai Police have not yet officially confirmed the authenticity of this claim, and investigations are ongoing to identify the true motives and the criminal syndicate behind the attack.
